Maybe I'm a bad parent, maybe I'm great. The jury is still out, but I've come to the conclusion that you could do worse then getting your kid addicted to puzzle games. They get to work on their problem solving abilities and you get a chance to have a grown-up conversation.
There's a new one out for iPhone and iPad. In "Where's my Perry?" it's up to you to find a way to get the water to Perry's transport generator. On the way you need to avoid (or take advantage of) various examples of Doofinshmirtz' 'inators, as well as physical processes like phase change, gravity and momentum. We'd been playing "Where's my Water?" for a while having a lot of fun. This game is clearly a rebranding variant, but it is not just re-sprited. Three levels in, it was clear that the challenges were newly created for this game.
What ages is it best for? My small pole indicates that kids from 5 to 45 will have a hard time putting it down. Now it's time to get back to work...after One More Level.
