Too much thinking. Not enough making.
I guess I've reached the point on my nonfiction work that need to decide what to do with it. The term "paralysis by analysis" comes to mind. The paralysis has also effecting my blogging, with many topics that I could go into, but not sure if I should devote space to them, or how they should be organized.
What a pickle.
The one area where I have been making progress is learning to us Blender. Although daunting at first, I'm finding it incredibly intuitive and powerful. There is a useful playlist by BornCG over on YouTube. He does an excellent job of walking you through the interface and into the more advanced parts of the program.
On the whole, this process has been a classic example of finally taking the plunge into something big and intimidating and finding that it's not so bad after all.
Don't get me wrong. I still find the prospect of getting my models from blender and into Source Filmmaker to be big and intimidating. Let's hope that goes close to as smoothly.
